This workshop brought together staff from 20 organizations working in Sri Lanka in Tsunami relief/recovery operations. The workshop structure was organized around the project management cycle framework.

After finding out what participants were hoping to get out of the workshop – i.e. solutions and ideas to deal with problems that they faced in the field – the participants reviewed what they had done in terms of planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating cash interventions – and each time were encouraged to reflect on what they had learned and come up with recommendations for next time, or for others who were about to embark on such programmes.
