Description
The global financial crisis is hitting developing countries harder than previously thought. ODI is working to increase understanding of the effects of the global financial and economic crisis in developing countries. Developing countries are being hit by falls in trade, private capital flows, remittances and possibly in the value of official development assistance (ODA). ODI and developing country teams have provided new evidence on these transmission belts in 10 poor countries
This event focuses on the effects of the crisis on Asian economies and their policy responses.
