Description
On Friday, 16 March 2001, ODI organised a one day conference with the objective of identifying emerging best practice policies to attract FDI and made FDI work for development. The key questions addressed were what works, where, at what time and what are the unresolved issues?
Speakers were drawn from academia, international organisations and research institutes. They approached the subject of FDI by either focusing on a particular issue or by providing a case study.
