Description

This event highlights progress  made and gaps in addressing climate-induced migration and displacement in the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement, Intended Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans, and in other related disaster risk reduction and development frameworks. The panel aim to identify concrete policy actions needed: from an international agreement on climate-induced migration, to regional integration policies, and greater alignment across national adaptation and risk management plans.

This event is in the EU Pavilion which is located in the Blue Zone, where an official UNFCCC pass is required to attend.
