Trade Policy and Poverty; Institutional Review
Policy recommendations to the Kenyan Government following an institutional review and study of the links between trade reform, poverty and development. These policy recommendations used the analysis resulting from the following study components: development of an analytical framework for assessing possible links between trade and poverty in Kenya; stakeholder analysis to link with the simultaneously commissioned trade-related Institutions and Organizations Review Study; policy analysis to include a review of existing trade policies affecting Kenya; and review of existing national and international empirical studies on the impact of trade reforms on poverty and sustainable development.
