Study commissioned by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on development partnerships with a view to informing the debate on the Right to Development. Paper issued as official UN Human Rights Sub-Commission document. The study developed an analytical framework that drew out the emerging convergences in key areas necessary to understand development partnerships from two perspectives: (i) human rights-based approaches and (ii) aid effectiveness.
