Reviewing the Results of Poverty and Social Impact Analysis on Bank Operations and In-Country Policy Formulation
The overall aim of this project will be to improve the practice and enhance the use of poverty and social impact analysis in the World Bank and in partner countries. Building on, rather then duplicating, previous PSIA Reviews. This will be achieved specifically by determining whether or not a PSIA positively contributes to policy dialogue and whether and how it contributes to improved capacity for pro-poor policy analysis and planning in country. Throughout the course of the project a literature review, field and desk based case studies and a synthesis report will be produced. ODI will carry out 100% of the work on this project.
