Preparing minds for leading large scale coalition campaigning with the UK public
There is now shared recognition of theneed to shift dominant public understandings of global poverty and socialjustice. However this has not been explicitly tried before. It will require somedifferent analysis and practice, plus a willingness to explore ideas that may bechallenging and new. A solid foundation of shared awareness and understandingwill be essential to sustaining public engagement over any period. This projectwill seek to provide this shared awareness and understanding, through newanalysis of public attitudes, building on the Finding Frames recommendations, and new approaches to campaigning. The project has financial support from thefive member agencies of the BOAG (Christian Aid, Action Aid, Save the ChildrenUK, CAFOD and Oxfam GB).
