ODI took part in the evaluation of General Budget Support in Uganda over the past decade, using the OECD GBS evaluation framework, which ODI helped develop. It was part of a wider multi-donor evaluation of Budget Support carried out in 7 different countries, aimed at identifying how, why and when General Budget Support (GBS) has reached its objectives in different countries, and informing budget support practice in future.
