International Programme Strategy Refresh and Fellowship Programme Evaluation of the Environment Agency
The Environment Agency of England & Wales has a designated role to contribute to the UK Government's international efforts to promote sustainable development. The Agency has commissioned ODI, in collaboration with LTS International, to advise it in a review of its International Programme (IP), including an evaluation of its Professional Fellowship Programme. Since the IP was first developed in 2004, the Government's policy priorities have evolved, with climate change coming to the fore, and programme-based approaches have been adopted, in line with the 2005 Paris Declaration. In this evolving context, this study is considering how to ‘refresh' the IP, consolidating what it has achieved and identifying options for its future direction.
