Food, fuel and finance: assessing the impacts of the Triple F crisis in Nigeria
The purpose of this project was to undertake primary research across six socio-economic regional zones in Nigeria to determine the impacts of the food, fuel and financial (3F) crises, specifically those affecting vulnerable social groups, including women and children. Based on this evidence, the project aims to support UNICEF and the Government of Nigeria’s understanding of crisis impacts and social protection and other policy response options, and ultimately support initiatives aimed at addressing the MDGs and achieving Nigeria Vision 2020. It will also help inform priority setting by UNICEF in order to safeguard the interests of children as well as long term development goals.
