Effects of Trade Facilitation on National Income Distribution
This project identified distributional impacts in developing countries of behind and at-the-border customs reforms of a trade facilitatory nature, and their eventual impact on poverty alleviation. It was delivered as a peer-reviewed paper at the UN International Forum on Trade Facilitation in Geneva in May 2003 as a means of helping developing and transitional countries prepare appropriate TF strategies and also of informing their fuller participation in WTO rules-based procedures and negotiations.
