Domestic and Mutual Accountability Model to enhance Aid Effectiveness: A case study methodology to examine this relationship
This project is to enhance understanding of the relationship between mutual and domestic accountability in order to inform the policy and practice of governments – donors and recipients – and other stakeholders concerned with aid effectiveness. Specifically, this project establishes a conceptual framework for examining domestic and mutual accountability for aid, identify areas of emerging best practice and develop practical guidance for aid donors and recipients as to how domestic and mutual accountability for aid can be made complementary, so that aid effectiveness is enhanced.
