On 29 May 2006, EU Commissioner for Trade Peter Mandelson announced the launch of a reflection process on how Europe’s trade defence instruments such as anti-dumping operate in the modern global economy. In preparing this Green Paper, the Commission will draw on, amongst others, a series of papers prepared for Commissioner Mandelson by external experts in July 2006.
