A 2-day communications workshop for researchers working on 27 research projects funded under AusAIDs Australian Development Research Awards (ADRA) competition 2007. The objectives of the workshop are to:Ensure a shared understanding of the importance of strong communication with policy-makers and researchers throughout the life of the project (not just at the end) i.e for communications to move beyond merely ‘dissemination’ of the final report.Help develop some strategies for how researchers can engage policy-makers (AusAID, partner governments and any other relevant stakeholders such as community, NGO sector, other donors).Explore how AusAID and researchers can work together to ensure the research has greater impact
